Free Coaching Opportunity from Mizzou’s PJ Joseph

The University of Missouri’s Alexandre Pierre Joseph has started a free coaching class for any rank in Mizzou’s League of Legends (LoL) Club. Joseph’s class features free coaching for players of any rank and position looking to improve their skills and climb the ranked ladder. Joseph offers a unique way of looking at a game as complex as LoL. His rare outlook and coaching style has seen impressive results from most if not all of his fifteen and counting students.
The class meets whenever Joseph and his students agree on a time with no rigorous schedule or examination. Since college students are all busy people, meeting this way keeps a low-stress environment that Joseph and his class strive for. The class will usually meet when a new champion releases or any significant meta changes occur. Joseph likes to include a lesson in every meeting to reinforce basic concepts.
Joseph’s coaching style is extremely transparent as he is there to learn just as much as his class is. He breaks down LoL to its simplest form and redevelops basic principles with each student.

Most LoL coaching features in-depth analysis on mechanics, fighting, wave management and other complex aspects of the game (not to mention it can be extremely pricey) whereas Joseph is focussed on his students’ foundation.
“I teach my students how to think about the game, not necessarily how to play it.”
Joseph’s students have proven his method’s effectiveness through their own accomplishments.. For example one student ended Gold 3 last season after ending Bronze the season prior.
